Trakt is a TV show & movie tracking and discovery website. It's also an engine used by many media centers and apps:
- You can scrobble your watched episodes automatically with media centers such as Kodi and Plex.
- You also can connect your Trakt account with community developed mobile apps available on iOS and Android.
To discover new shows and movies after setting up your account, you can select one of the following listing criteria from the
Movies pages : Trending, Popular, Watched, Collected, Anticipated, Box Office.

If you already know the TV show or movie, you can search for it by clicking the search icon on the upper-left of the web app and entering the name of the appearing input.
After adding your TV shows, you can list the episodes you haven't watched yet and the upcoming ones from the dashboard
A calendar view is also available
Simkl is a TV show, anime and movie tracker. It's available on Android and iOS. It works with multiple media servers such as Kodi and Plex, services like IFTTT, and media players on Windows such as VLC. You can also import your watch history to Simkl from external services such as IMDB and Trakt.
You can discover new TV shows, anime and movies by filtering by genre or by listing:
- the most watched entries using tracking data
- the best for 24 hours
- the last aired with high rank
- top box office, best of the year, most anticipated and new movies
