Fix and restore missing YouTube playlist options
How to fix missing playlist features on YouTube, such as the 'Create new playlist' option when clicking on the 'SAVE' button from a YouTube video

Problem

You have just noticed that you can't create YouTube playlists either because you recently created your YouTube account or you just never bothered using the playlists feature.

Now you want to enable the playlists feature and start creating and sharing playlists with others.


Solution

  1. Open YouTube, then click on you accounts logo from the top right of the page
  2. Select Create a channel
  3. Click on GET STARTED
  4. Either choose to use your name or a custom name
  5. Navigate to the bottom of the page, then click on SET UP LATER

You can now start using playlists features.

To verify that it's indeed working:

  1. Open any YouTube video
  2. Click on SAVE below the video player
  3. Create new playlist should no longer be missing
